Poor, uncoordinated Mackenzie!

Well, it finally happened. I got my first pump-knot on my head. I was running as fast as I could to see my Nana, and barrelled head-first into the door frame (that's been in the same spot for 30 years!). Mommy and Daddy heard the sound of my head hitting the wood, and came running. I tried to be brave and let them hold a cold washcloth on my head, but it was so hard. I think I might have learned why Mommy says not to run in the house. Aren't I pitiful?

Ride 'em, cowgirl!

As you can see, I have my own horse. His name is Max, and everyone else thinks he's a dog. But I know the truth. The other day he laid down in the floor and begged me to hop on. I, of course, couldn't say no. So on I got, and we giddy-up'ed all evening. In this shot, I'm getting ready to say "Yahoo!" Look out, cowboys, here I come!

Party Time!

My great-uncle Tommy and great-aunt Judy celebrated their 25th anniversary this month, and commemorated the occasion by renewing their vows on Sunday. I had so much fun getting dressed up and seeing my extended family. I got to eat lots of yummy food, and play with my cousins. I can't wait to see them all again. Congratulations, Judy and Tommy!

Happy St. Pat's!

As you can see, we got all decked out for St. Patty's Day. Daddy had a guy's night out, so Mommy and I went shopping and out to eat. I enjoyed being Mommy's little leprechaun!

Go Thrashers!

I got to go to my first Thrashers game on Friday! Mommy, Daddy, and I went and met up with Emma, Mr. Scott, and Ms. Sara. We had so much fun. I got to ride MARTA for the first time, too! I made sure I got really comfortable for the long ride--it took about 4 minutes to get to Philips Arena! Thanks, Jordan Family, for the tickets!

Hammin' it up...

Mommy and I went to the salon for our haircuts with Ms. Terri. I loved wearing the fish cape, and modeled it for the entire salon. Then it was time to settle in with a good magazine to wait for Mommy. This is the life!

Weeeee....

Mommy and Daddy got me this cool new slide to have in the backyard. It's just my size. Every morning, I wake up and ask to go "Weeeee!!!"

Erin Go Bragh!

I am definitely getting the hang of holidays! Mommy and I went shopping, and I found the cutest leprechaun hat! Nobody can pinch me on St. Patty's Day!

Funny girl...

Daddy took this cute picture of my with 2 of my Backyardigans friends. I love to sit on the couch and cuddle with them.

Backyard Fun...

The weather has been so nice, I've been able to go outside and play a lot more lately. I'm not sure yet about riding my four-wheeler in the grass; it sure is bumpy! But I love swinging and sliding with Daddy and Papaw.

Mackenzie's Half-Birthday!

Mommy, Daddy, and I went out for our usual trip to Monterrey's. While we were there, we realized that that night was my half-birthday! Just to be fun, Mommy ordered us a sopapilla (for those of you who haven't had the opportunity to have one, it's delicious!) and we celebrated. Happy 18th month to me!

We're back!

It's been a long time since Mommy posted anything on my blog. Here are just a few things I've been up to since last time...

Mommy put my hair in pigtails for the first time. I enjoyed wrapping my baby in a baby blanket Aunt Michelle made for me. I had so much fun with a balloon I got at the mall (it used to be a poodle!). And I relaxed at home with a good book. We have been very, very busy this year. Hope to see you soon!

Papaw and Mackenzie

This is me with my great-grandfather, Papaw Hob, when I was only 5 months old. He is Mommy's grandfather, and my Nana Phyllis' father. He passed away on Saturday, January 20th. He was 90 years old. We will miss him terribly. Thank you for all of your well wishes. They are comforting during this sad time.

Lunch at the Varsity!

Last weekend, Nanny and Papaw came to visit from Charlotte and took me, Mommy, and Great-Grandma Joyce to lunch at the Varsity. I love it when they come to visit, I get more spoiled each time!

I'm such a ham! (or maybe I'm a hot dog bun!)

Merry Christmas!!!

Here are some pictures from the Cronon's 2006 Christmas bonanza! Enjoy!
(and yes, that does say "Nuttier than a Fruitcake" on Mommy's shirt. Daddy thought it was quite fitting!)

I was so exhausted after opening gifts on Christmas Day at Grandma Joyce's house, I just had to put my new Backyardigans sleeping bag to use! It's really comfortable--I slept over an hour and a half!

Mommy caught me going up and down Grandma Joyce's hallway in my good shoes, making "CLONKING" sounds. I don't see anything wrong with it, and fortunately for me, Mommy didn't either!

My own four-wheeler!!!

Santa got me what I've wanted for so long (about 3 months!)! A Barbie four-wheeler! I was still kinda groggy from sleeping, but I was so happy to see this in front of the tree! And it had a big Uniqua pillow sitting on it, keeping the seat warm for me!

Anyone else see the resemblance between me and Mommy again? I am completely enthralled with this See'n'Say because it has farm animals, and I love farm animals!!!

I took a time-out from opening gifts to read a new book. A girl's got to have some down time!

Do ya think I'm excited?! It's Pablo and Uniqua for the bathtub; of course I'm excited!!!!

Christmas Eve, Part 1

Early on Christmas Eve, we ate lunch and opened presents with Nana, Papaw, and Aunt 'Chelle and Uncle Eric and my four cousins, Michael, Stephen, Christopher, and Kaitlyn. We were so busy opening gifts that this is the only good picture Mommy got. Good thing Stephen and I are so cute together!

Christmas Eve, Part 2

Nanny, Papaw, and Aunt Beth came down from Charlotte to spend Christmas Eve with me, Mommy, and Daddy. Here I am in front of our tree before opening gifts with them that night. Wow! I must've been a good girl!

Here are just two of the cute pictures that were taken. One is of me in a box, and the other one is of me with my elephant bookbag I saw in Gatlinburg. That Santa sure is an amazing guy, huh?!
