A night at the fair!

Me, Mommy, and Daddy went to the North Georgia State Fair tonight. We had so much fun. By the time we took this picture, I was so sleepy. I had so much fun riding all the rides and eating french fries. This was the best!

Wheeeeee!

Daddy took me on the helicopters. I enjoyed the ride, but I am such a shrimp, you can hardly see me!

My first carousel ride!

I rode my first carousel tonight! I know I look scared in this picture, but believe me, this is an intense "having fun" face!

Beautiful Baby

I entered the Beautiful Baby Contest at the North Georgia State Fair tonight. There were lots of beautiful babies. Ain't I a doll?!

Hardee-Har-Har-Har!!!

Mommy turned on the Backyardigans, and I went crazy! I love those guys! (And you can see my new earrings really well in this picture!)

Fun with a friend!

Today Emma came over. We had a lot of fun playing together. We are such good friends!

My first haircut!

Daddy, Mommy, and I went to Daddy's cousin Michelle's salon today for my first haircut. I've watched Mommy get her hair done so many times, I'm a pro. I sat very still in Mommy's lap and let Michelle cut my hair. I also posed beautifully for Daddy and the camera.

Here we go!!!

Before...

...and...

...during...

...and...

...after!!!

This is me with my cousin Michelle. She's the brains behind this haircut! She's so much fun, and has the best toys! I didn't want to leave. I can't wait until it's time for my next 'do!

Mommy caught me gazing out the window at the salon. I love watching the world around me. But I don't stand still for too long. On to the next adventure!

And to end the evening...

This is going to be so much fun! Mommy and Daddy are getting my ears pierced. Mommy's earrings are so pretty, and I'm very gentle when I touch them. My first haircut and my ears pierced on the same day! I think I'm becoming a big girl!

Ok, wait, wait, I'm not sure if I like this...

This is NOT what we talked about!

Not to worry, I came through just fine. After a few minutes of tears, I was ready to tackle the Dippin' Dots ice cream stand!

"One step at a time...

...and you'll do fine". That's what Mommy and Daddy always tell me. So I finally let go and took that first, scary step on Friday night. But don't worry, I am very careful. I only managed to get my left foot off the ground at first. Saturday, now that's a different story! I took several steps, with both feet. It won't be long now!

Afternoon in the park!

Today Mommy and Daddy and I went to the park. I love to swing, and play in the sand. Soon I'll be able to play on the playground by myself!

Ready, set...

And
down
we
go!!!!

Hahahaha!

Mommy caught me going through my drawers, and I thought it was hilarious! Do it again, Mommy! Did you notice I finally found clips that would stay in my hair? Now I really have the girly look!

One of my favorite...

restaurants is Hooters! I know, I can hardly believe it myself! The waitresses always come over and play with me, and give me balloons! Mommy and Daddy gave me my first taste of Hooters' clam chowder when I was only 5 months old! I have loved it ever since. It's only natural, since Mommy lived on it the whole time I was in her belly! Keep it comin'!

I also had to have the lemon off Mommy's glass. Yum-yum!

Off to Charlotte!

Daddy, Mommy and I went to Charlotte this weekend to see my Nanny, Papa, Aunt Beth, and Great Uncle Chris. I was so excited on the way there! I danced along with my DVDs, and even tried to eat my toes!!! Thanks for a great visit, as usual!

Zzzzz....

After a long day of running errands with Mommy, I was pooped! I fell asleep in the car, and slept through Daddy changing my diaper and getting me ready for bed! Whew! Parents sure can wear a kid out!

Comfy and cozy...

I think somebody is enjoying her new chair!

This is the life! Me in my chair, nice cold bottle, and the Backyardigans! What more could a girl ask for?
