Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter. After church, we came back home, and Mackenzie found something-a-prize (Mackenzie lingo for "surprise") on our fireplace. She enjoyed her goodies, but really was excited about the Little Einstein's Rocket she received. She has not put it down since she got it! We also were able to have lunch with Jon's family, and dinner with mine. Hope you all had a great Easter!
This is the best picture. Jon was helping Mackenzie with her dress, and she let him wear her hat. This makes me think of what her wedding day might be:)
(Ignore the mess, please! We were running late, as usual, and things go flying when we're late!)

Mackenzie's face when Daddy brought in Rocket.

Dyeing Egg-stravaganza!

The hunt is on...

We were so lucky to be able to go to TWO Easter Egg Hunts this year!

Happy Early Easter!

Mackenzie is just as excited about Easter as she was about Christmas. We are trying to teach her that we're still celebrating Jesus, but not as a baby, as a man. It's somewhat of a hard concept, but we're getting there.

Trip to N.C.

Last weekend we went to North Carolina to celebrate Stephen's 7th birthday. It snowed that morning, and the mountains were still covered.
Happy Birthday, Stephen!
Mackenzie wouldn't let him out of her sight (or grasp!).
At 'Bama 'Ceil's house, we found a pretty pink pony that kept Mackenzie interested for a while.
Jon had the bright idea of picking up the pony with Mackenzie on it, and galloping all over the living room (over and over and over). His back paid for it, but the look on her face was worth it! (Sorry, Jon!)

A few things we've been up to...

Mackenzie thought the kitchen floor would make a nice bed for her and Daddy after her bath.

Aww...

They grow up so fast, don't they? Just kidding! At our cousin Jared's 16th birthday celebration, Mackenzie insisted on stealing his seat in front of the delicious cake.

OCD?

Mackenzie had to put these Valentine's Day decorations on the window almost exactly how they came in the package :)
