Concentration...

I got to go to work with Mommy for a few hours on Friday morning. I kept myself busy by building these towers. I think I was a harder worker than Mommy!

Happy 4th of July!

Mommy, Daddy, & I went to the square to celebrate Independence Day. We sat with Mr. Scott, Emma's daddy (Emma, hope you're feeling better now!). We walked around the park and got to visit with some friends we had not seen in a while. (Hi Dani & Jake!) I wandered over to a group of babies and made friends with a little girl. At first, I was a little hesitant, but then I made myself at home! I really enjoyed the fireworks, too. I called out all the colors, and then decided they looked like animals, and flowers, and the sun.

Splish-Splash!

Mommy & Daddy took me to the pool for the first time this year on July 4th (they really are behind, aren't they?!) and I loved it! I played, jumped, and splashed the whole afternoon away. The best part, it's only a few minutes away from home, so there's no excuse to not go!

Baking with Mommy!

Mommy and I made a yummy "Stars & Stripes" cake for the 4th of July. I had a blast helping mix all the ingredients, and then the next morning I helped with a taste-test! I love the icing the best!

Dinner Fun with Daddy!

Daddy, Mommy, & I tried a new mexican restaurant near our house last week. The food wasn't nearly as yummy as Monterrey's, but Daddy made up for it by being silly with me! (This was pretty much the only bite we could get Mackenzie to eat!)

Settling in...

We are starting to settle in at our house. I love having all this space to play in. Every morning I get to take a walk to the mailbox. When I watch TV, I love to sit on the ottoman. I think Mommy and Daddy bought this especially for me!

Fun at Monkey Joe's

Mommy and I met our friends from our Mommy and Me class (from when I was a baby!) at Monkey Joe's last week. Emma and I weren't sure about it at first, but once we got in, we didn't want to get out! Then we ate at Stevie B's, where I got to have chocolate ice cream, and I helped clean up afterward. (We both enjoyed seeing everyone again!)

My first house guest!

Emma was my first guest in our new house. She and her mommy, Ms. Sara, came over before we moved in. I showed her my new room, and then we played in all the empty space! We have so much fun together!

Trip to the movies!

I went to the movies the first time back in May. Mommy and Daddy took me to see Shrek 3. I loved it--cartoons and popcorn? I was in heaven!
