Cooling off...

Emma and I enjoyed a nice swim this weekend. We had a lot of fun in and out of the pool. Thanks for having me over! It was a great way to beat the heat.

The perfect end to a perfect birthday!

We went to Johnny Carino's for my birthday dinner. (translation: Mommy did not want to cook after the party!) A huge bowl of ice cream with a cherry on top was the perfect way to end my birthday weekend. Thank you for your wonderful presents, and for coming to celebrate with me. I love you all!

I loved my birthday cake! I asked Mommy every day for a week to eat birthday cake, and I think it was worth the wait. Being 2 is cool!

Party Time!

Fun on my birthday!

Mommy, Daddy, and I had a yummy birthday dinner and then it was finally time to open presents! I received lots of fun stuff, including:

pink sunglasses that match my bathing suit;

a Little Mermaid helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads (what do I need those for, hmmm....);
a pink watch, a Disney Princess playhouse, and...
Aha, now I know what the helmet was for!!!!

Born to ride!!!

On my birthday, Mommy and I spent some fun time together. We went shopping for some last minute party supplies, and I got to pick out the tableware. Then I talked Mommy into buying a lollipop and letting me eat it in the car. I also got to pick where I wanted to eat lunch, and unfortunately for Mommy, we were passing McDonald's at the time. Daddy and I also had some birthday fun, looking at all the yummy cakes in the store, trying to find the perfect one for dessert. No pictures from the cake shopping:(

Mackenzie is 2!

Thursday was my 2nd birthday! We are having my party on Saturday. Mommy and Daddy made my actual birthday very special. Mommy and I spent all day playing and shopping, my two favorite things! Then, we went to get our toenails painted. I always sit very still and watch while they paint, and usually I want to help paint, too! Daddy took me to pick out a mini birthday cake, and I got a very yummy one with sprinkles on it. I also got to open my presents. I got lots of fun stuff, but I loved my new tricycle the best. Happy 1st Birthday, Kaitlyn!

My cousin Kaitlyn celebrated her first birthday on July 14! We had a party for her, and had a great time. I think her favorite part was playing with -- I mean, eating the cake! I sure do love a good party!
