Wow, it has been forever since I posted. I am finally getting over morning sickness, at 13 weeks. A few weeks ago, I passed out one Saturday morning, while I was getting ready for work. After I came to, I went on to work, and then came home and crashed. That Monday I called the OB. They wanted to check me out just in case. All three of us went (me, Jon, and Mackenzie). Everything is fine, but I'm supposed to watch my energy level, which has been non-existent, and let them know if I pass out again. The upside to this visit: We heard the heartbeat!!!! We had been to the dr. the week before, at 11 weeks, but they couldn't hear the heart yet. So, Mackenzie was there, and got to hear it with us. She was so cute. She entertained all the nurses, and told them she was going to have a little sister (no, we have no idea yet what the baby's sex is). When she heard the heartbeat, she told the doctor, "The baby is growing, and Mommy's tummy is going to get bigger and bigger, and then the baby's going to come out! The baby's in the uterus now!" I'm not sure who was surprised more, us or the doc. Either way, Mackenzie is so excited about the baby, and continually tells everyone about it, at the store, at my office, at the playground, library, everywhere we go. We go back to the OB on Dec. 8, then we set up the ultrasound for the end of December/early January to check everything and find out if Mackenzie's right about having a little sister!
